What a lovely effort! When I smelled it I got a fairly aggressive grapefruit aroma followed by elegant, graceful fruit flavors and a gentle texture. The effect is something like a Sancerre from the Loire Valley that has been blessed with a dollop of California sun. I would drink this through the first half of the meal with salds or chilled seafood.
